Auto Headlights on Kit Redarc – Hardwired

The REDARC 12V Daytime Running Lights Controller is designed to ensure vehicle headlights are switched on whenever the ignition is on.

REDARC daytime running light modules are designed as a safety feature for commercial, industrial and fleet vehicles but are also suitable for the everyday driver. Daytime running light modules ensure that the headlights on your vehicle are on at any time the vehicle is operated.

Recent research suggests that having headlights on during the day increases the visibility of your vehicle and, as such, provides safer driving conditions.

REDARC daytime running light modules are now compulsory as OH&S provisions on many mine sites.

They are designed for universal fitment in 12 volt or 24 volt vehicles with either positive or negative-switched lighting systems.

REDARC daytime running lights feature a 10 second turn on delay designed to reduce the load on the engine during cranking. This is particularly useful on vehicles with an already-large starting load such as Landcruiser 100 and 200 series turbo diesel models.
